3 month project as a design consultant for Mintago, an end-to-end unbiased financial wellbeing solution that makes both business owners and employees financially healthier.
User Experience Design
What: Financial wellbeing is often misunderstood in the workplace
Problem is: Employees aren't aware of options available to better their financial wellbeing
However: No two employees are the same and trying to support each and every team member is hard
We need to: Understand how to segment different employees and design a product that provides them with the tools to better their financial wellbeing
My Role: Design consultant (initially hired to support design sprint but extended to work alongside Ops Manager to design UI/UX of app + dashboard)
THE DESIGN SPRINT
The goal of the design sprint was to understand what motivates people to make decisions that make them financially happier. We would then use our findings to ideate further during the coming weeks.
After scanning through the "How Might We?" post it notes we decided to focus the rest of the sprint on segmenting each user so that we could offer them an experience tailored around their future goals.
We created a fully working prototype and gathered data on each user during the on-boarding to then generate a fully custom dashboard where they could take action towards things like buying a house or getting rid of debt.
Outcome of the sprint: We tested the prototype amongst different demographics and used our findings to inform any next steps the following week. I stayed on as a freelance design consultant and contunued to develop and iterate the app and pension dashboard (web) (unable to share the on-going work here due to confidentiality).
Unfortunately I cant show any more work due an NDA agreement but please contact me for any further information.
